Add a URL (web page) resource in moodle (Faculty/Staff)

A URL can be copied and pasted into a Moodle label OR you can add the URL using the "URL" resource. NOTE: if you are added a link to a YouTube, you may want to use the URL resource. Otherwise, Moodle automatically embeds the video into the label.

  1. Click "Turn editing on" in the upper right-hand corner, and in the topic section in which you want to add the link, click the "Add an Activity or Resource button.

  2. Select 'URL' from the list.

  3. Enter a name for the link, the decription, and the web address of where you want the link to point to.

  4. At the bottom of the page, select 'Save and return to course'.
